Solar photovoltaic (PV) installers are in high demand. The opportunity for advancement within the field, particularly for those who have completed training, is excellent. Hudson Valley offers a 40-hour non-credit PV-Associate (Solar Power) Online training course with instructor guidance.

NOTE: The college's Center for Careers and Transfer provides students and alumni with additional tools to assist them in their job search, including an online job bank, resume writing and interview preparation guide and appointments with counselors for resume critique and mock interviews. Completing coursework does not guarantee job placement, but will give you expanded skills to add to your resume. Opportunities are dependent on the current job market and your level of experience.
